Last night was the first SNL after the writers’ strike. Anyway, there were no really stand out moments, a few funny ones, but the bigger news is that the day after, a bunch of the skits remain on YouTube on non-NBC accounts.
Yet, NBC has not yanked them. Is it a matter of time before they do? Bear in mind NBC pulled the YouTube account altogether and would police YouTube to get Google to remove the SNL pirated stuff. Yet by noon EST, they remain on the site, and on non-NBC accounts.
Has NBC come around? Or did the writers’ strike and continued momentum of audiences migrating online “kept them honest”?
