SAN MATEO, Calif., April 22 /PRNewswire/ — Shea Kelly is a female entrepreneur who is proof positive that sometimes, a frightening experience can turn your whole life around. After being the victim of a life-threatening home invasion, Shea faced her attacker in court and the man was eventually sentenced to prison. But instead of living in fear, Shea, who was single at the time, decided to make drastic changes in her own life — packing up her belongings, moving to the west coast and adopting a daughter whom she named Marisa.
While juggling her career as a high level executive at Hewlett Packard with single motherhood, Shea became bitten by the entrepreneurial bug. While feeding her baby, she began to realize the bibs she was using were in a word, “hopeless.” Marisa was constantly covered in food and her neck was red from the uncomfortable plastic neckline. And so, straight out of a scene from the film Baby Boom, Shea decided to became a mompreneur — launching Chez Baby, LLC and creating DaBib(TM).
DaBib(TM) has already received the iParenting Award and has received accolades from celebrities, who recently received the DaBib(TM) as part of a huge gift basket.
DaBib(TM) is quickly becoming a hit, simply because parents are anxious for a product that actually does what it should: protects the children’s clothes, is comfortable (no more plastic and rubber), great looking, and doesn’t shrink in the laundry. Bibs may seem like a small thing, but they’re a big deal to parents who want to simplify the several-times daily task of feeding their children. Shea plans to expand the line with new products that provide a similar “elegant solution” to everyday parenting tasks; Parent inspired and tested.

PRWEB) April 1, 2008 — The verdict is in and research shows: No longer is pregnancy a nine-month prescription to sit on the sidelines. More and more, pregnant women are running during pregnancy and exercising straight to the finish line. (Or, shall we say, delivery room?) Who can forget elite marathoner Paula Radcliffe’s continued training through her pregnancy and first place spot at the 2007 NYC Marathon just 9.5 months after giving birth to her first child?
For that reason, RunningSkirts.com founders and identical twins Christy, and Cindy, who ran during her entire pregnancy last year, proudly introduce their new “Fit Momma Skirt”. This maternity and fitness skirt has a special built-in belly-supporting waistband designed to go the distance….of all three trimesters.
This new style has attached compression-type shorts underneath. Cut a bit roomier than our running skirt styles, it is about 2 inches longer in length. They comfortably accommodate a growing belly, this skirt sports an extra wide supporting waistband that can be worn up high over your entire belly or can be folded down to sit lower on the hips and provide support under your baby belly. The A-line silhouette of the maternity skirt hugs all the right curves but also provides flattering coverage for some of those not-so-cute curves and bulges that come with pregnancy.
The Fit Momma Skirt is made from lightweight quick-drying performance fabric and has two side pockets which are perfect for toting your iPod, keys, and other necessities. This new maternity fitness style provides perfect cool comfort for any pregnancy workout.

Las Vegas, NV, September 6, 2007 — Feed the baby. Change the baby. Wash the clothes. Being the parent of a newborn or toddler is hard work. Developed by a frustrated new mom, DaBib™ is a breakthrough in bib design that keeps babies and toddlers clean and comfortable, and gives parents more play time and less laundry time.
Made with environmentally safe materials, DaBib is non-toxic and virtually lead-free (independent lab tested). DaBib’s most unique feature is its patent pending “Scrunch Collar”. Unlike regular scoop-neck bibs, the adjustable, rib-knit collar prevents spills and dribbles from slipping under the bib and onto clothing.
“Newborns are fed 8-10 times a day,” said Shea Kelly, founder of Chez Shea Baby, Inc. and creator of DaBib. “I was constantly laundering, changing my baby’s clothes, and throwing out stained outfits because of poorly designed bibs. As I talked to other parents and heard their similar frustrations, it was clear that we all needed a better bib. DaBib’s adjustable Scrunch Collar was designed to be easy to put on and take off. Made of exceptional quality fabrics, DaBib will hold up in the wash, and the adjustable collar is designed to grow with your baby. I truly believe there is nothing else like DaBib on the market today.”
Available in two styles – “HUGS” features a super absorbent micro-fiber terry face that soaks up messes, while the waterproof backing keeps clothing dry. There’s nothing to pull over baby’s head as the adjustable Scrunch Collar attaches in front. Just lift, and the bib falls away, without disturbing a sleeping baby. Machine washable and shrink resistant, the extra-large, hour-glass shape keeps the baby covered, whether a newborn or a toddler. “HUGS” is available in a variety of pastel colors with an off-white or striped waterproof backing.
When solid food becomes a regular in the diet, flip out the hidden pouch from the back of the bib. Crumbs and tidbits fall into the pouch and not onto clothing, making sure you won’t have to pull off a quick change before a play date.
The second style – “GIGGLES” is made from 100 percent waterproof polyester fabric and can be wiped clean after feeding. It’s the perfect combination – soft and comfortable -and is also machine washable. Say goodbye to plastic and rubber bibs that make baby uncomfortable. It is available in our Signature Stripe design with an off-white backing.
Both “HUGS” and “GIGGLES” carry a suggested retail price of $12.99 and are available online at http://www.dabib.com and select retailers.
