Victoria’s Secret fashion show will be airing on December 1st. This year’s fantastical affair bears a “romantic travel” theme and features categories such as Enchanted Forest, All Aboard, and Star Trooper.

“We came up with the idea of this girl who lands from outer space in Paris,” explained show stylist Charlotte Stockdale. “She gets on a train that comes to a halt in Pinkland, where pink girls get on and off. Then they go into this fairy-tale forest and little lady bugs and butterflies land on them and vines grow up on their clothes. Then, there’s Tick-Tock Time; the wings in this section are based on clocks—there’s one modeled after a pocket watch with metallic feathers. And she ends up in this regal realm of princess-ness, where the wings have Swarovski jewels and peacock feathers.”

If you’re checking out the fashion blogs and fashion tips on WatchMojo’s fashion channel - you must be a woman of style! Here are some ways to looking fashionable, but staying comfortable.

Here are some tricks from Shape.com

High Heels
High stilettos make us look sexy, but they can cause a lot of damage too. You can easily sprain an ankle or develop heel pain and plantar fasciitis. “We see heel pain often when changing from high heels to flats, but you can avoid this by doing stretching exercises after wearing heels,” says Dr. Oliver Zong, New York City podiatrist. He also recommends limiting heel height to 2-3 inches, and buying shoes with a rubber sole or pads in the ball of the foot.

Oversized Purses
Oversized purses are very popular because they can house an endless amount of stuff. But toting around a heavy bag can lead to postural imbalance and other back-related ailments. What you lug in your purse and how you carry it makes all the difference. Here’s a quick glance at some current fashion trends.

Large Carry-All
“A large bag slung over one shoulder is a neck problem in the making,” says Dr. Andrew Black, New York City chiropractor. To combat this you should continually switch shoulders and look for bags with adjustable straps. “An adjustable strap is great because you can carry it on either shoulder or across the body. Doing this will use different muscles and reduce the chance of aches and pains from overuse,” adds Black.

Small Tote (worn at the elbow)
Another common trend is to hold your purse perched at the elbow. Doing this can cause a lot of strain on your forearm. According to Dr. Black, you can exacerbate tendonitis of the elbow, which can become very severe if not addressed. Rule out holding your bag this way.

Messenger Bag
The mailman-inspired bag is a huge fall trend and, luckily, a better option. A well-designed one keeps the weight close to your body and prevents you from raising your shoulders unevenly.

Dangly Earrings
Wearing heavy earrings can damage the ear lobes and, in some cases, lead to tears and surgery. “Any dangling type of earring that pulls down on the earlobe–especially if it distorts or lengthens it–is too heavy to use,” says Dr. Richard Chaffoo, MD, FACS, FICS. If your pierced hole starts to sag, there are surgical procedures to repair it, but that should be a last resort. Don’t write off dangly earrings altogether, but limit them to an hour or two, as long as they don’t cause you pain.

The chic smoky eye look has taken on three fresh, fall-inspired looks for 2009.

1-Teal
Feel like a mermaid using deep pine and teal colors.

Go for a futuristic feel with metallic shades in silvers and blues.

This is a much subtle, but just as sexy, version of the original smoky eye look using browns instead of blacks.

Finding the perfect bra depends on what you’ll be wearing and where you’re going. Tamara Glick, founder of Trademark Image Consulting, says you can avoid any embarrassing bra mishaps by keeping a well-stocked bra wardrobe.

Here are Tamara’s suggested bra essentials:

Three to four regular day bras: These are bras that are seamless and very plain. You should have one or two seamless bras in black and two in a flesh tone that matches your particular colouring. This can range from a blush colour if you’re very pale to a cocoa colour if you’ve got a really rich skin tone. They would be suitable under any regular t-shirt, blouse or even a sweater and provide no lines that would be detected outside of your clothing. A slightly moulded cup will ensure you won’t be a walking temperate gauge when you enter a room!

A push-up bra: Like a sexy pair of jeans, every woman needs at least one push-up bra. Opting for one with a lower front will come in handy when wearing a top with a lower décolleté. Plus, who doesn’t like a little added lift now and then?

At least one athletic bra or sports bra: Depending on how often you’re active, you may need an entire wardrobe worth of sports bras that provide enough support while you’re sweating at the gym.

A strapless or convertible bra: Most strapless bras nowadays are convertible; they come with detachable straps and those allow you to create a halter neck, one shoulder or criss-cross back. It also gives you the opportunity to feel secure in having straps that match whatever neck line you are wearing.

A long line bra: This style of bra is one that most people today don’t give much credit to but they can be really handy in creating a very smooth look under a dress or a tight-fitting top.

A sexy bra: No explanation needed for having a bra that is strictly for fun!

Fashion has become another character in the Gossip Girl drama. Here are some essential items to getting the clothes at home.

1- White tights
According to Blair Waldorf, you’re never too old for white tights!

2- Thigh highs
Note: Thigh-highs are about as forgiving as white tights, so if you’re under 5’9” and want to wear them, we suggest growing.

3- Poufy dress
It’s by far the best outfit to sulk in.

4- A super hot mom
A la Lily van der Woodsen, super-hot Serena’s super-hot mom.

5- A capelet
What’s a capelet!? If you need to ask, you might as well just give up now.

6- A gold mask
A Gossip Girl never knows when she might get a last-minute invite to a masquerade ball.

7- An extensive headband collection
The headband is an absolute right of passage for Blair and her devoted underlings.

8- Shoulder bones that could cut glass
Because everybody knows that clothes hang better when your body resembles a coat hanger.

9- A pint-sized pooch
A given…

10- Silk pajamas
Your responsibility to look gorgeous does not stop just because you happen to be alone, asleep, or in a pitch-black room.
