If the shoes are cute who cares about the fit.
According to a recent poll, “Nearly four in 10 women buy shoes knowing they do not fit.”
The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists found 37% would wear uncomfortable shoes as long as they were fashionable. Even men are fashionistas at heart and admitted to buying shoes that are the wrong size.
Although a bargain is always tempting, it’s time that we learn from Cinderella and shop until we find the perfect fit.
According to Lorraine Jones, from the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, “not all foot problems can be prevented, a large majority of problems do result from incorrect or poor footwear.”
High heels and flats have both been found to be guilty of common foot problems like corns, blisters and ingrown toe nails.
Comfortable shoes doesn’t mean you have to only wear loafers. Shop for comfort and fashion. There are so many shoes that anything is possible.
