I would never have imagined pop star Lilly Allen as the face for chic Chanel, but Allen has been chosen as the latest ‘muse’ for Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld.
Allen definitely brings a playful factor to the classic French couture brand.

Gossip Girl’s Jessica Szohr, fondly known as Vanessa, and style blogger andrew bevan spend the day boutiquing and bowling in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
From TeenVogue.com
from Celebrity-Gossip.net:
They’ve always been known for their keen fashion sense, so it’s no wonder that Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are adding to their dynamic.
The 23-year-old twins are coming out with their own line of sunglasses which will be vintage-inspired and introduced this spring, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
Although the line won’t launch for a couple more months, during London Fashion week, Mary-Kate was spotted sporting a pair of square framed shades which are reportedly one of the four different styles in the collection.
The sunglasses will range in price from $325-$390, and will be sold in high-end department stores.

Your comfortable sweat pants use to be for nights in and lazy sundays, but today designers are making them stylish enough for your next date.

The international world of fashion is abuzz over Canadian designer Mark Fast’s choice for models to present his latest collection.
Fast chose to have women who were sizes 12 and 14 to walk the catwalk in his latest designs. Many sang praises and the curvy models are booking more shows since, but there were those who were not impressed.
Fast’s own stylist apparently walked out because of the new look. The queens of the runway like Naomi Campbell thought it was a great idea!
“If the girl’s beautiful and she can model, why not?” said model Naomi Campbell.
“What a clever move I thought,” said model Erin O’Connor. “He’s demonstrating literally that what he does works on any woman with any frame.”
“While the move to make models look more like real women began in the 1990s, today’s campaigners are beginning to sense change.
“Women take on much more than just information about clothes when they see imagery coming out of London Fashion Week. And I believe that we have begun a small shift,” said Caryn Franklin, co-founder of All Walks Beyond the Catwalk.”

Gossip Girl is back on air-finally! One of my favorite things about the show is the outfits the girls wear. Although Serena and Blair wear designer labels that are more expensive than most of us can afford, their looks can be recreated easily.
Serena van der Woosen’s style is said to be inspired by Kate Moss. That means “she mixes lots of fashion-forward and vintage pieces together for a look that is “boho chic” with a rocker-chick edge.” Being from the tpper east side she still always looks sophisticated and chic.
Serena’s wardrobe essentials consist of:
- Well-cut Jackets
- Skinny Jeans
- Dresses
- Boots
- Layered Necklaces
- Bangles
Blair Waldorf’s style “is very classic, preppy, and polished” This Queen Bee is always perfectly put together and always looks like she’s stepped out of a fashion magazine and accurately represents the stereotype for the upper east side.
Blair’s wardrobe essentials consist of:
- Dresses & Skirts
- Tailored, Classic Pieces
- Pops of Color
- Girly Details
- Dressed-Up Loungewear
- Headbands
- Tights
