H&M proves that green is the new black:
Toronto, ON (June 4, 2008) – H&M continues to expand its organic cotton collection this fall, and introduces other environmentally-conscious material choices such as organic wool, recycled wool and polyester.
“We are now using organic cotton in all of our departments,” says H&M Head of Design, Ann-Sofie Johansson. “We’re proud that we’re able to meet increased interest from our customers and at the same time contribute to the increased demand for organically grown cotton. Garments made from organic cotton include both fashion items and updated basics.”
The clothes will hang in their respective departments in H&M stores and will be labelled with special hangtags. The prices of the garments are comparable to other H&M collection.
