Along with the rest of what’s sacred from 80s pop culture, Conan The Barbarian is being remade. The comic book inspired movie helped launch the career of Arnold Schwarzenegger and gave us all a fondness for outrageous accents and grotesque muscles.

In the lead position to take on the iconic role is hulk-sized Jason Momoa, of Stargate Atlantis fame. Personally, I think he’s the right dread-bearing choice to bring new exciting dimensions to the character. Sadly, outrageous accent not included.

Here is a random clip in which you comically see Arnie’s Conan mistreating various animals. He is a Barbarian afterall.
