How does a “good girl” like Alexa (Emmy Rossum) get “the bad boy” Johnny (Zach Gilford) to notice her??

Wear a short skirt to the party and hit the dance floor to grind on her girlfriend .

How else? Check out a brand new clip below…

In high school, what kind of person did you dare to be: risk-taking and lustful, melancholy and confused or simply safe and over-achieving? Dare follows three teenagers through their last semester of school: Alexa (Rossum, Phantom of the Opera), the smart, good girl who longs to break out of her shell; Ben (Springer, Teeth), the lonely outsider dealing with his sexuality; and Johnny (Gilford, Friday Night Lights), the rich, seemingly perfect bad-boy who has everything. In a last-ditch effort to shake things up before graduating and start living as adults, this unlikely trio take the biggest risks of their lives. In the process, they learn no one is exactly who they appear to be.

A Sundance Film Festival breakout, Dare is produced by Mary Jane Skalski (The Visitor, The Station Agent) and Jason Orans (Goodbye Solo), written by David Brind and directed by Adam Salky. Original music is by Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) & David Poe.

Roland Emmerich has outdone himself.  It looks like 2012 will easily take the title of most ridiculous, over-the-top disaster movie of all time.  Despite the cheese-factor, the special effects and CGI look stunning and they are on full display in this 5-minute teaser of the film which hits theaters November 13th.  Watch:

The amazing ensemble cast produced some great moments, some too adult for the theatrical trailer – but they’ve now been cut into some great red band clips to give you a sneak peek of what you can expect from the film.

Story: Directed by Academy Award winner Sam Mendes (“American Beauty”) from an original screenplay by Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida, this funny and heartfelt film follows the journey of an expectant couple (John Krasinski [“The Office’] and Maya Rudolph [“Saturday Night Live’]), as they travel the U.S. in search of the perfect place to put down roots and raise their family. Along the way, they have misadventures and find fresh connections with an assortment of relatives and old friends who just might help them discover “home” on their own terms for the first time. The movie features the music of Alexi Murdoch.

Director: Sam Mendes (“American Beauty,” “Road to Perdition,” “Jarhead,” “Revolutionary Road”)

Here are the clips:

This looks like a slight variation of Piven’s “Ari Gold” character from Entourage, but enough laughs that it might be a good 80’s style comedy:
