Thirst Clip: “VAMPIRES ARE CUTER THAN I THOUGHT”
Manny, Sid, Diego, Ellie, and Scrat encounter a dinosaur population which survived extinction in its tropical paradise, which existed below the thick layers… until now. Meanwhile, Crash and Eddie are up to their usual crazy selves. Manny and Ellie have since become an item are going to have their first baby, and Manny wants everything to be perfect when his baby arrives. Diego is tired of being treated like a “House-cat” and ponders the notion that he’s being too laid back. Sid starts to wish for a family of his own, and so steals some dinosaur eggs which leads his herd to go and to try to rescue him while dodging dinosaurs and facing danger left and right; they also meet up with a new friend who’s a one-eyed weasel known as Buck, who hunts Dinosaurs intently. Scrat also meets a squirrel named Scratte and could find a possible romance with her.

This story just gets weirder and weirder… With Casey Affleck on hand to film all these shenanigans it seems more and more likely that this is some sort of lead up to a Borat style faux documentary type movie. Then again it could also be that Joaquin Phoenix is just an asshole… Watch:
Caprica, the highly anticipated prequel to “Battlestar Galactica,” will enjoy its world premiere exclusively on DVD on April 21, 2009 from Universal Studios Home Entertainment. With Sean Penn’s new movie Milk out now and getting great reviews, this video on the life of Harvey Milk seems appropriate. The video, entitled The Life of Harvey Milk: In the Footsteps of Gandhi and King, is a short documentary that interweaves the life of Harvey Milk with the human rights efforts of Gandhi and Martin Luther King. Produced by Causecast (www.causecast.org) for Focus Features, the piece chronicles the timeline of the late San Francisco city supervisor’s fight for gay rights and highlights the historical struggle for human equality.

In 1977, Harvey Milk was elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, becoming the first openly gay man to be voted into public office in America. His victory was not just a victory for gay rights; he forged coalitions across the political spectrum. From senior citizens to union workers, Harvey Milk changed the very nature of what it means to be a fighter for human rights and became, before his untimely death in 1978, a hero for all Americans. Milk charts the last eight years of Harvey Milk’s life. While living in New York City, he turns 40. Milk’s platform was and is one of hope – a hero’s legacy that resonates in the here and now.

As someone who has never read the Watchmen graphic novels, I can say that this movie looks more and more intriguing with every bit of footage that I see. Check out this new trailer from Comic Con:
