This sounds like it could be a winner… from TheMovieBlog.com:
Ed Helms of “The Office” fame and Bradley Cooper are headed for a “Hangover.” They are in final negotiations to star in director Todd Phillips bachelor-party comedy, about three friends who lose the groom at their Vegas fandango two days before the wedding. The third lead role has yet to be cast for the Warner Bros. film.
Todd Phillips, who last directed “School for Scoundrels,” is best known for such films as “Road Trip” and “Old School.”
On behalf of First Independent Features, we are pleased to present Moving McAllister, an on-the-road comedy that proves that a mismatched pair can find love in all the wrong places. Up and coming actor/writer/producer Ben Gourley leads a cast that includes Mila Kunis (“That ‘70s Show,” “Family Guy”), Jon Heder (“Napoleon Dynamite,” “Blades of Glory”) and Rutger Hauer. In select theaters September 14th.
Moving McAllister centers on Rick Robinson (Gourley), a lowly intern at a prestigious Miami law firm who dreams of becoming a partner one day. Eager to impress, he agrees to help the firm’s top lawyer, Maxwell McAllister (Rutger Hauer), with a favor he really cannot afford. Just five days before the bar exam, Rick finds himself in charge of moving McAllister’s dearest possession across the country: his seductive, yet untouchable niece, Michelle (Kunis). In a less-than-stellar moving van, the mismatched pair begins their cross-country journey. Along the way they encounter numerous obstacles and unforgettable characters, like free-spirited hitchhiker, Orlick Prescott Hope (Heder), who, much to Rick’s dismay, manage to slow down the journey. Through the experience, Rick begins to realize that there’s more to life than becoming a successful lawyer.
