Well that was quick… No new album?  No shows in North America?  Too bad, I would have liked to hear some new music from Blur.  Read more on the apparent re-breakup from Graham Coxon via Ultimate-Guitar.com:

According to Nme.com, Graham Coxon has stated that Blur has no future plans to play together or act as a band following this year.

The quintet reunited earlier this year to play a collection of festivals and shows. In a video interview with Nme, Coxon stated they have nothing in store for the future.

“We’re in touch and we say ‘Wotcha’ and all that but nothing has been mentioned about any more shows or anything else,” he explained.

“Everyone’s slipped back into what they do when the Blur creature isn’t heaving around. Law and cheese and music, I suppose.”

Aside from Blur, Coxon does plan to go ahead with a solo career. The guitarist will play a handful of gigs under the name The Graham Coxon Power Acoustic Ensemble.

Ahh to be a celebrity, you wake up one morning and the internet is buzzing that you’re transgendered… not that there’s anything wrong with that. Read more from TheDailyTelegraph:

Hollyscoop.com reports there’s a rumor spreading like wildfire on the internet that Lady Gaga has both male and female reproductive parts and she’s reportedly even addressed it in the past.

“Its not something that I’m ashamed of, just isn’t something that i go around telling everyone. Yes. I have both male and female genitalia, but i consider myself a female,” she reportedly wrote in a blog back in December 2008.

“I think this is a great opportunity to make other multiple gendered people feel more comfortable with their bodies. I’m sexy, I’m hot.”

Lady Gaga raised eyebrows during the Glastonbury festival in England when the footage of her was shot and has since hit YouTube.

But Lady Gaga’s manager has told media outlets including ABCnews.com that the rumours of her being a hermaphrodite were “ridiculous.”

Wow, this was unexpected! More from NME.com:

The Faces are set to reunite for rehearsals with a view to a full reformation.

Frontman Rod Stewart told Raysgigs.com that all the original members aside from late bassist Ronnie Lane, who died in 1997, were set to reconvene on Monday (November 17) to run through their old hits.

The singer, who spoke at the Claridges Bar 10th Anniversary Party said the band, which includes current Rolling Stones’ guitarist Ronnie Wood, will use Stewart’s touring bassist to fill in for Lane.

The Faces split up in 1975 after Wood began playing with The Rolling Stones.

30 seconds… 30 million… seems like an appropriate number! Virgin records are not happy with Jared Leto and his band saying they failed to deliver on their agreed upon contract of 3 albums. Read more from CNN:

Hardcore fans of 30 Seconds to Mars aren’t the only ones who want more of the band’s music. Virgin Records has sued the group for $30 million, saying it has failed to deliver.

Virgin Records sued the band and front man Jared Leto in Los Angeles on Friday, claiming they refused to deliver three albums as required by its contract.

The band’s last album, “A Beautiful Lie,” was released in 2005.

A publicist for Leto, an actor who starred in the film “Requiem for a Dream” and the TV show “My So-Called Life,” did not return a message Friday.

According to the lawsuit, the band “repudiated” a 1999 contract in July.

Despite the absence of a new album, the band’s hit “From Yesterday” was deemed one of 2007’s Top 10 “Hot Modern Rock Songs” by Billboard magazine.
