Esmée Denters stopped by Radio 538,  the  #1 radio station in Holland, for an acoustic performance of her single “Outta Here.”  With almost no sleep following her show with Enrique Iglesias the night before, the Dutch pop songstress still rocked the set and showed off her silky, soulful vocals on the Justin Timberlake and Polow Da Don produced track. I’m all for musical experimentation and collaboration, but Chris Cornell paired up with Timbaland never seemed like a good idea.  This acoustic rendition of the single “Scream” only reaffirms that.  This is just Chris with an acoustic guitar accompanying his voice. No programmed beats, no digital effects. Just the music. And what a difference that makes!

Check out the video HERE

As mentioned the album Scream was produced by Timbaland and he has continued to play with the sound of the songs of this record including 10 remixes for his track “Part of Me,” acoustic versions, and the upcoming single will be a non-album version.

Critically acclaimed guitarist/songwriter and famed NY Yankees star BERNIE WILLIAMS has signed a recording contract with REFORM RECORDS for his sophomore album MOVING FORWARD - set for release on April 14. The Puerto Rico native and five-time All Star is a classically-trained musician who developed his love for playing guitar alongside baseball, while listening to salsa, merengue and 80’s rock. In conjunction with the album’s release, Williams will give an April 18 concert (featuring very special guest artists) at New York’s Nokia Theatre Tickets go on sale December 6 at 12 noon via TicketMaster and the Nokia Box Office.

Bernie Williams comments: “I’m thrilled to be recording again and to be a part of the Reform Records family. They share my vision for this album and for my music. The All-American Rejects, hot off their December release of When The World Comes Down, have taken their time in the Yahoo! Music studio to bring a stripped down version of Britney Spears’ hit “Womanizer” to life. Packed with an accordion, clanking beer bottles, and a unison of “whooooos” the cover is described by frontman Tyson Ritter as “better than Britney”

The world would be a better place if more people listened to Iron & Wine. Essentially one dude, Sam Beam, he creates incredibly beautiful songs with not much more than his voice and an acoustic guitar.  This video is an awesome visual accompaniment to a really pretty song.  Its really nothing more than a steady shot along a really long table filled with a bunch of stuff, but you won’t soon forget how it ends and you’ll find yourself rewinding the video to double check things. Do yourself a favor and check out some more music from Iron & Wine:

Say what you will about Jack Johnson, but the man can write a catchy tune. “Sitting, Waiting, Wishing” is no exception and the video is pretty kickass as well. This is another in-reverse styled video, and like some of the others, it treads in familiar territory but manages to remain fresh and original. My favorite parts include the piano player who arrives just in time to play his solo… but backwards… weird. Check it out:
