Mötley Crüe announced today plans for their Saints of Los Angeles 2009 Winter Tour, hours before headlining a special one off performance at the historic Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. The Live Nation produced, Saints of Los Angeles 2009 Tour, will feature special guests — Hinder, Theory of a Deadman and The Last Vegas.  The tour kicks off February 2nd in San Diego, CA with 29 shows throughout North America, including a date at Madison Square Garden, with the final performance on March 18th in Portland, ME.  Tickets go on sale beginning November 21st at www.livenation.com and www.motley.com.

American Express Card members will have access to presale tickets beginning Friday, November 14 at 5pm local time through Thursday, November 20 at 10pm local time via www.motley.com.

“It’s great to go back out on a tour like this where the bands are all about returning rock to the forefront of music today,” says Vince Neil of Mötley Crüe.  “On top of it, we get to introduce a new band who jumped the line to arenas through the Guitar Center: On Stage contest.  Just like Ozzy gave us a chance and took us on tour at the start of our career, we’re looking forward to taking The Last Vegas on the road and giving them the same opportunity.”

Hinder front man Austin Winkler said, “Mötley Crüe is a massive influence on us, and an inspiration on so many levels for what we do!  Mick even played on the title track for our new album.  It will be an honor and privilege for us to tour with one of the greatest rock bands ever!  And we can’t wait to party our asses off with them!”

“We are so pumped to be a part of what I think will be the biggest and most bad ass tour of 2009.  Three kick ass bands on one bill, not to mention how honored we are to play with one of the best rock n roll bands of all f#@%kn time, Mötley f#@%kn Crüe,” said Tyler Connolly of Theory of a Deadman.

Rock icons Mötley Crüe recently returned to the charts with Saints of Los Angeles, their first new studio album with the original line-up — Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Tommy Lee and Vince Neil — in over a decade and the ninth studio album in their career.  Based on the band’s New York Times bestseller The Dirt, the disc debuted at #1 on the Independent Album chart and was the top debut of the week on the Billboard’s top 200 at #4.

New York, NY - Massachusetts-bred; New York-based rapper Termanology’s debut LP, Politics As Usual, is in stores today (9-30-08).  One of this year’s most anticipated albums; Politics As Usual is a joint venture between Term’s own ST. Records and Indy powerhouse Nature Sounds.  Termanology’s debut merges the best of both worlds for all Hip-Hop fans, as its meshes classic boom-bap production from a virtual who’s who list of production royalty; DJ Premier, Hi-Tek, Pete Rock, The Alchemist, Havoc, Buckwild, Nottz and Large Professor all provide tracks and it also includes guest appearances from Prodigy, Sheek Louch, Freeway, Lil Fame and UGK’s Bun B who guests on the LP’s DJ Premier produced lead-single “How We Rock.”

At the onset of 2006, Term caught his big break when legendary producer DJ Premier, whom he met three years earlier, finally blessed him with one of his signature, scratch-laden beats. “Watch How It Go Down” instantly became an underground classic and Termanology appeared on Hip-Hop’s international radar. The conscious hood anthem garnered the earnest MC tons of praise, landing him in The Source’s “Unsigned Hype” and XXL’s “Show and Prove” columns.

Since then, Termanology has quickly climbed the industry ranks with his Hood Politics mixtape series and his debut, Politics As Usual, has a huge buzz on the Internet and has also been included in Source, XXL, XLR8R, Remix and Spin Magazine’s (Look for Term in the Dec 2008 issue of Spin Magazine where he will be featured as a “Break Out” artist).

The opportunity to join two legends like Method Man and Redman on their “Still High” tour is very gratifying for Term as he laments “I’ve been listening to Method Man and Redman my whole life and it’s an honor to tour with them.  I look forward to tearing it down for the fans.”

Recent Frenchkiss signees, Cut Off Your Hands, are proud to present the Happy As Can Be EP, their first offering for the New York-based label, due this October. Available for download below, the eponymous single will also be featured on their much anticipated, Bernard Butler produced debut album, You and I, set for release in early 2009. A carousel of layered melodies and rhyming couplets, soaring over an insistent, cavalry-like drumbeat, Happy follows the successful Expectations, Cut Off Your Hands’ lead single released in late September. Expectations has not only received high rotation on Australia’s premier radio station, JJJ FM, but it was recently featured as the Australian iTunes Single of the Week. The track currently sits as the second largest download in iTunes SOTW history. Here’s hoping the same fate befalls Happy.

Download and share Cut Off Your Hand’s “Happy As Can Be” from Happy As Can Be EP [Frenchkiss Records; October 21st 2008]

In their short time on both record and stage, Cut Off Your Hands have built both their fanbase and media attention on a slew of melodic and downright memorable offerings. From the romantic naivety of songs like “Oh Girl,” to the speeding, hyper-love balladry of the pop-paean “Still Fond,” the four-piece have shown they’ve got what it takes to grab the world by its scruff and shake it into spinning, lovesick action. Late next month, the band will grab New York itself for a string of dates at the annual CMJ Music Marathon.

CMJ Dates:

10-21 New York, NY – The Delancy (New Zealand CMJ Showcase)

10-24 New York, NY – Cake Shop

10-25 New York, NY – Public Assembly

Globetrotting guitarist Yoav stands at a very unique crossroads: where the tantalizing pop hooks of mainstream mainstays and the unabashedly artistic aesthetics of underground rock music intersect. Drawing both from a varied musical history – the classical music of his parents, the pop of his youth – and a rich personal history – Yoav was born in Isreal, grew up in South Africa, lived in Canada and the US – his music is the very definition of eclectic. Pulsing with the energy of electronic, the bulky beats of hip hop, and the earnest simplicity of singer-songwriter fare, this youngster’s latest, Charmed & Strange, has won over critics in every corner of the globe, a universal acceptance befitting of such a nomadic artist. Listening to “Club Thing ,” with its cascading guitars and plaintive melody, it’s easy to see what has the world so bewitched:

>MP3 “Club Thing”

One man melting pot of Timbaland, Pharell Williams & Led Zeppelin” - The Guardian

Deliciously dark” - Daily Star

Throughout the summer Yoav will be taking his guitar on the road for a massive worldwide tour, with stops in Denmark, Russia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and more. Loaded down with festival dates, the itinerary begins tonight and doesn’t wind down until September. Plenty of chances to catch this virtuosic newcomer in action.
