Jonas Brothers are set to release the Soundtrack to their new movie, “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience” on February 24th, three days before the film is slated to hit 3D theaters across the nation. The soundtrack includes old favorites like “Hold On” and “S.O.S” as well as live performances with Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato, a Shania Twain cover, and one new, never-before-heard studio recording called “Love Is On Its Way.” The highly anticipated film goes behind-the-scenes with Kevin, Joe and Nick on last year’s Burning Up Tour, following their every move along the way. Check out the recently released video for “Tonight,” the first single from the Soundtrack, featuring great live footage from the movie.
2008 was a record breaking year for Jonas Brothers where they took home six Teen Choice Awards, starred in Camp Rock, went platinum with their #1 debuting “A Little Bit Longer,” released “Burnin’ Up,” and became the youngest group to be featured on the cover of Rolling Stone. The New Year has already proven to be a continuation of their hot streak with a performance at the Kids’ Inaugural Concert in D.C. and an upcoming performance on the Grammys where they are nominated for Best New Artist.
A momentous moment in Pop music history:
Ahead of the MTV Video Music Awards, their supporters discuss the question with vigor, as to which band is actually the more incredible. There is talk of Tokio Hotel, the most successful German rock band, and the Jonas Brothers, currently America’s greatest pop band. At this year’s VMA awards on September 7th in L.A., they came together in the category “Best Pop Video”, further stoking up the discussion from supporters of both bands. And the question on everybody’s lips – does this translate to competition between the two bands themselves? The truth is there is nothing of the sort, quite the opposite. Tokio Hotel (who won the MTV VMA category “Best New Artist”) and Jonas Brothers have one thing in common: while Tokio Hotel are currently superstars in Europe who are successfully capturing great attention and fans across the United States, the superstars from America, Jonas Brothers, have planned to conquer Europe. No wonder the guys had a lot of things to tell each other, when they met shortly before the MTV VMAs in New York. They got along great and shared a lot of experiences – and for sure there will be more, next time they meet each other.

he Veronicas are gearing up to release their sophomore album, Hook Me Up, in the US on August 26th! The eye-popping video for “Untouched” — the first single from Hook Me Up —earned the super-hot duo a performance on MTV’s TRL, which is airing August 20th at 11amEST. Also, Lisa and Jess recently announced that they’re hitting the road with the Jonas Brothers for a select string of shows later this month (tour dates below).
Hook Me Up represents a stylistic leap from the girls’ 2006 debut The Secret Life Of… by swapping the latter’s pop-punk leanings for Hook Me Up’s dance friendly, beat-driven feel. The album features a host of top notch hitmakers, including Shelly Peiken (Christina Aguilera), Greg Wells (Mika), John Feldmann (The Used, Good Charlotte), Billy Steinberg (Madonna), and their Secret Life collaborator Toby Gad, who also wrote Fergie’s 2007 hit “Big Girls Don’t Cry.” Hook Me Up has already achieved double-platinum status in the girls’ native Australia.
