Next Tuesday marks the official US release of Cut Off Your Hands’ debut LP, You & I. Due via Frenchkiss Records on January 20th, the album was recorded by Suede’s Bernard Butler, with an assist from Stephen Street on the Pitchfork-premiered “Turn Cold.” The day after the album’s long-anticipated stateside arrival, the band will be hitting North America with Barsuk Records indie popsters Ra Ra Riot, whose 2008 breakthrough The Rhumb Line, was, like You & I, a full-length answer to a string of promising EPs. Kicking off in Vancouver, BC at Richards on Richards, the run of dates slides up and down the West Coast with shows in Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, and LA.
