Today marks the digital release of ”Who Do We Care For?,” the new single from Sebastien Grainger and second official single from his 2008 debut full-length Sebastien Grainger and the Mountains. ”Who Do We Care For” is backed with ”It’s a Living,” a new track recently recorded for this release. Both tracks are available through the Saddle Creek Online Store, iTunes, emusic and other digital outlets.
Videos for both songs are also available for purchase via iTunes (individually or as a video/mp3 bundle) and for viewing at the youtube links below. ”Who Do We Care For” was directed by Graydon Sheppard and features everything you could ever want in a big rock video - excellent cinematography, the band performing in the cold of Canada, and of course smoke and fire! The video for ”It’s a Living” provides a nice contrast by showing some of the studio recording for the song. The clip was shot and directed by Sebastien.

U2.com today confirms that the U2 360° tour will open at the Nou Camp Stadium in Barcelona on 30th June. The U2 360° Tour is sponsored by BlackBerry and it is the band’s first stadium outing since the Vertigo Tour 05/06 and follows the release of their acclaimed album, No Line On The Horizon. Their 12th studio album, No Line On The Horizon is already number 1 in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Belgium, Finland, Japan and the Czech Republic with further chart positions to be announced this week.
Produced by Live Nation Global Touring, U2 360° will visit 14 cities across Europe including dates in Milan, Gothenburg, Amsterdam, Paris, Nice, Dublin, Chorzow, Berlin, Gelsenkirchen, London, Sheffield and Glasgow before finishing at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on 22nd August. The European tour will be followed by dates in North America beginning at Chicago’s Soldier Field on September 12th, 2009.
Long-time U2 Show Director Willie Williams has worked again with architect Mark Fisher (ZooTV, PopMart, Elevation and Vertigo), to create an innovative 360˚ design which affords an unobstructed view for the audience. U2 360° also marks the first time a band has toured in stadiums with such a unique and original structure (which can be viewed at U2.com).

LOS ANGELES, CA (February 12, 2009) – M80 Music (http://m80im.com/) announced today that the documentary film Sleepwalking Through The Mekong, will be released on April 14, 2009 as two-disc set via Nail Distribution (http://www.naildistribution.com) and online via IODA (http://www.iodalliance.com). The package features a DVD and a CD soundtrack of the film.
Sleepwalking Through The Mekong (www.sleepwalkingthroughthemekong.com ) chronicles the journey taken by Los Angeles based Khmer rock band Dengue Fever (www.myspace.com/denguefevermusic) to lead singer Chhom Nimol’s native Cambodia during the 2005 Water Festival. The band’s performances there marked the first time a Western band had performed classic 1960s and ‘70s Cambodian rock ‘n’ roll in the country where it was created and nearly erased from existence by the brutal Pol Pot regime.
More than a rockumentary, the film serves up a portrait of modern Cambodia as the band tours through Phnom Penh and beyond, crossing a great cultural chasm with the same spirit of Cambodia’s original rock pioneers. The film has screened at a diverse number of festivals and museums including The Margaret Mead Film and Video Festival, The Hawaiian International Film Festival, Roskilde Festival, The Istanbul Museum of Fine Art and the Museum of Fine Art in Boston.
DVD bonus material includes a biography of the band Dengue Fever, live performance segments, comments from director John Pirozzi, segments on the Cambodian Water Festival, the traditional Cambodian Coconut Dance and Cambodia’s Master Musicians.
The accompanying CD soundtrack includes classic tracks from Cambodian artists Ros Serey Sothea, Sinn Sisamouth and Meas Samoun, as well as original material created by Cambodian master musicians Tep Mary and Kong Nai with Dengue Fever, and previously unreleased Dengue Fever instrumental tracks “March of The Balloon Animals” and “Phnom Chisor Serenade”.

Robert Plant has completely ruled out getting back together with Led Zeppelin for a concert tour. In a rare live interview, the singer, 60, suggested to BBC Radio Wales this weekend that he has gotten too old for lengthy hard rock shows and has moved on to other things.
“I’m doing very well with Alison [Krauss], and I’m enjoying that,” Plant said, while confessing that he still kept in touch regularly with Jimmy Page.
“I still see Jimmy quite a lot and he’s very complimentary and supportive of what I’m doing,” Page said about the Zeppelin guitarist. “But we are in different places now, and you have to go on to do different things.”
When asked directly about the likelihood of a Led Zep reunion, Plant joked of being too old. “Do you know how long it took me to climb up onto the stage here? And it’s only four steps!”
Britney Spears recently premiered the video for the title track off of her new album Circus. The explosive video features amazing costumes, crazy circus performers and of course, Ms. Spears.
