Having toured with Xzibit, The International Noise Conspiracy and Atmosphere among others the Looptroop Rockers are masters of bringing their unique sound, look and attitude to whatever stage they’re standing on. Good Things shows many sides in the evolution and maturity of Looptroop Rockers, the ever broadening musical explorations of Embee and the continuous message laden lyrical depth of Promoe and Supreme. Good Things features appearances by Rakaa Iriscience of Dialated Peoples, Mapei, and Timbuktu.

Dubcnn had the great opportunity to sit down with Mr. X to the Z for an in-depth 3-Part interview we like to call ” The Life & Times Of Xzibit”. In Part 1, we discuss his childhood, why he became a rapper, how he hooked up with the Likwit Crew, the L.A. scene of the early 90’s and what it was like when he came out with ” Paparazzi”.

We then talk about 2Pac, Xzibit’s path until he met Dr. Dre, the experience of being on the Up In Smoke tour, the ” Restless” album and the dominance of the West Coast during that peiod in time. Read or listen to this exclusive interview below:

Bishop Lamont will release “The Confessional” with DJ Whoo Kid very soon. The official cover is to your left, so be sure to check it out. The Whoo Kid version will hit the internet within the next few days, and the UNTAGGED version will drop on June 1st!

Right now, we’ve got two certified bangers from the project for you to check out. Keep in mind that “The Confessional” is considered the biggest representation of what you can expect from Bishop’s debut record “The Reformation.”

The first song is called “Gorilla Pimpin 5008,” a sequel record of sorts which features Busta Rhymes, Stat Quo, & Ryan C along with the original pairing of Bishop Lamont & Warren G. CHE’ of Aftermath Records produced the cut. Check it out!
