This ridiculousness is not going to encourage more people to donate a kidney!
Kidney donors may face huge medical bills because having one kidney may constitute a pre-existing condition under which coverage is denied, officials confirm.
A Texas hospital official said organ donors are told, but only orally, that having one kidney may be a pre-existing condition affecting insurance.
Police had no trouble identifying two men accused of trying to break into a Carroll apartment because their “disguise” consisted of scribbling over their face with permanent marker.

According to The Pogues:
Someone better tell Faleh Hassan Almaleki he’s not in Iraq anymore. In this country, we don’t do honor killings. And we sure as hell don’t try to kill our own daughters.
But that’s exactly what Almaleki intended to do when ran over his daughter, 20-year-old Noor Faleh Almaleki, in a state government parking lot in suburban Phoenix. Relatives say dad fought with his daughter over becoming too westernized and not living up to traditional Iraqi standards — which, we might add, are not very fun if you’re a 20-year-old woman in America…
So Almaleki allegedly ran over his daughter in Peoria, Arizona, also hitting her friend Amal Edan Khalaf. Noor Almaleki was found
unconscious and bleeding; her condition is life-threatening. Amal is on good condition. Noor lives in Sunrise, Arizona with her boyfriend and the 43-year-old Amal.Faleh Almaleki was last seen driving a grey or silver 2000 Jeep grand Cherokee.
If only Dave Chapelle had been able to hold it in just a little bit longer, but nature called.
Chapelle was performing at the Laugh Factory on Sunday with the goal to beat Dane Cook’s for the club’s endurance record for continuous standup comedy.
After five hours into his routine, only two hours and 34 minutes away from Cook’s record, Chapelle had to leave the stage for a bathroom break.
There are only two rules in the competition said club owner Jamie Masada, “You have to continuously tell jokes that are funny and you can’t leave the stage, even to go to the bathroom.”
The late Richard Pryor set the original record, two hours and 41 minutes, in 1980. Cook broke it 27 years later with a three-hour, 50-minute set.
Chappelle raised the bar to six hours, seven minutes before Cook took the record back last year.

Junk food-specifically soda has been linked to obesity according to recent research… although it seems like a no brainer.
The reason is why the idea to tax junk food was brought up as a solution to come up with about $1 trillion in funding to change the United State’s health care system.
Public health advocates say drinking soda is directly linked to obesity, which is partly responsible for skyrocketing health care costs.
“This study that we did with UCLA showed that regardless of income or ethnicity, adults who drink one or more soda a day are 27 percent more likely to be overweight or obese,” says Harold Goldstein, a physician and executive director of the California Center for Public Health Advocacy.
On average, Goldstein says, Americans drink 50 gallons of soda a year. He says it should be taxed so the beverage industry pays its fair share for the obesity epidemic.
