Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, Montreal - The location of John and Yoko’s next Bed-In, and where the song, “Give Peace a Chance,” was recorded.
Strawberry Fields, Central Park, New York - A memorial to John Lennon.
Candlestick Park, San Francisco - August 29th, 1969 was the Beatles’ next-to-last concert at Candlestick Park.
Rishikesh, India - After a week long meditation course with the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in Wales, the boys followed him to his ashram in the foothills of the Himalayas.

A new hotel being built in Dubai, the Palazzo Versace (like the fashion house), plans to give its guests every luxury, including a refrigerated beach. A series of tubes and pipes would be placed underneath the sand to absorb the heat. Temperatures in this area often range between 105-122 degrees.

Here’s what you DO get for your money: ear plugs to cancel noise from the ventilation system, hot water bottles (instead of central heating), complimentary slippers for walking on the icy concrete floor, and the CHANCE to take a hot morning shower (if your name gets picked, you’re in!)
