I must say, I miss Paradise Hotel and all, but TLC definitely gets high marks for positive, uplifting and constructive reality TV programming.

Miami Ink passes up the low hanging fruit / common denomanitor and opts for people looking to get tattoos that mean something instead of serving up 60 minutes of Miami’s finest tits and ass (of course, that would get an A++…)

Honey, We’re Killing the Kids (can you tell I am married?) is also pretty good, though the 40-year old projections seem, well, cooked up.

And last, but certainly not least, Shalom in the Home with Rabbi Shmuli is the bomb.  The man knows what he is talking about and week in, week out, offers tidbits that everyone can apply.

Probably not the ratings monster of other channels, but nonetheless, very good and a possible glimpse into the future of reality TV programming.
