There’s not many Penelope Cruz or Selma Hayek movies I can sit through, but one with Selma and Penelope I could probably sit through. Especially if this is true:
The two women have been close friends for nearly seven years, and the rumours that the two were more than friends grew at a recent press conference.
“I grabbed Salma’s ass just to keep things moving, because everyone was a little slow. And, of course, the energy changed when I did that,” Cruz said.
The rumours of the affair are even bigger in Hayek’s home country of Mexico.
“There are magazine covers in Mexico describing us as these lesbians because of that. A lot of people were saying we were lovers,” Hayek said.
Also adding to the confusion was Cruz recently admitting that her kiss with Charlize Theron in “Head in the Clouds” was her best on-screen kiss ever.
