Its a pretty blunt title, but you can never get enough Jackie! Plus, this is considered Chan’s most serious role ever and it will be interesting to see him in a straight thriller. I’m sure the stunts will be just as spectacular as always though.
Based on actual events surrounding a 1990 kidnapping in Hong Kong, Crime Story follows Inspector Eddie Chan (Chan) as he daringly attempts to rescue a wealthy businessman.
Considered Chan’s most serious film role to date, Crime Story is action-packed and displays some of the most brilliant martial arts stunts. The film was nominated for six Hong Kong Awards, including best picture. Chan earned a Golden Horse Award for his role in the film.
