SCOTTSDALE, AZ – BrightSpot Media (www.brightspotmedia.com) creator of BrightSpot.tv, an emerging interactive advertising platform, and the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) (www.livestrong.org) today announced they are teaming up to help raise awareness and funds for the fight against cancer.

At www.BrightSpot.tv/livestrong , consumers are encouraged to spend a few minutes a month watching relevant and highly-targeted video ads that when viewed accrue credits. Consumers are encouraged to amass credits worth up to five dollars which can then be donated to the LAF on a monthly basis. Fundraising in this new manner allows consumers to contribute to a great cause without having to dig into their own pockets and enables them to show their support of the Lance Armstrong Foundation, whose mission is to unite people in the fight against cancer.

“From the beginning, the BrightSpot Media executive team has been dedicated to promoting causes important to us,” said Aaron Martens, BrightSpot CEO and Co-Founder. “Understanding cancer’s effects first hand and the impact it has on families, perhaps none of our efforts are more important than our activities relating to cancer education. By working exclusively with the Lance Armstrong Foundation, an organization dedicated to leading the fight against cancer, we will add to our reach and effectiveness in spreading this message.”

“We are pleased that BrightSpot Media shares our passion for inspiring and empowering people affected by cancer and are excited they are bringing to market a new and innovative approach to fundraising,” said Betty Otter-Nickerson, COO of the LAF.
