The Obesity Pandemic

Hosted by: Rebecca Brayton

Obesity is steadily on the rise throughout the world, and at alarming rates. In fact, it is currently the number one preventable cause of death, and is considered one of this century’s most significant health issues. There are many reasons that contribute to its continual increase: the fast food and industrial food industries are some of the worst culprits. Dr. Richard Béliveau is a leader in the study of the beneficial health effects of food, and explains that these businesses manufacture foods that are unnatural for our bodies to consume. In this video, WatchMojo.com further discusses the problem of obesity with Dr. Béliveau.
