The Origins of Superhero Thor
In this video, WatchMojo.com takes a look at the backstory of the unique comic book hero Thor. As the son of the lord of gods, Thor was awarded with the hammer of Mjolnir. Over time he became headstrong and selfish. In order to teach him a lesson, his father cast him into a mortal body, and robbed him of his powers and memories. Thor then became Donald Blake, a medical student at New York State College. However, upon discovering a mythical cave in Norway, he regained his powers and grew a sense of purpose fighting crime.
