so perhaps their tactics of recruiting people to their consellation prize club (B-side) are flawed, “are you looking for a place to go with an older crowd?”, but it is admittedly nice to go to a club in town where the prevalence of university going drunkards is scarcer (Cafe Campus it is not), they let in more pretty girls than slimy guys, there is no cover (and no time spent waiting in line if you are a pretty girl), and they will bust out such ’80s gems as Whitney’s “How Will I Know” and Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up”. the weekend dj knows his transitions, and one minute you can be rocking out to vintage Michael, and the next, you’re bringing Sexyback (not that that that’s that much of a stretch, as one could never have been without the complete jacking of the other’s style). there’s also a more rock-centric second floor, and the club is really hopping around 12:30. some may scoff, but during the higher traffic times of the night, it really is a good time. and remember, no waiting in line if you are a pretty girl. if you’re not, it’s worth the wait to get in regardless.
