Two Australian miners were trapped for 2 weeks while rescuers dug an escape shaft, and to keep them sane while they waited they were given mp3 players. The one band that they requested be on the player was Grohl’s band, the Foo Fighters. When Grohl found this out he said that he would buy them a beer. When asked again about it he said that he would catch up with the 2 guys when he next tours through Australia, and said it wouldn’t be just one beer, but they’d make a whole night of it!
Lesson: If you want to hang out with your favorite musician, bury yourself underground for 2 weeks.
