This is a head scratcher… but apparently it came from the mouth of Cult frontman Ian Astbury. While playing a club show in Cincinnati he apparently told the crowd, “we’ll be back next year, because we’re opening for a band you may have heard of… the name starts with an ‘L’ and has a ‘Z’ in it…”
Interesting… I can’t see how Zeppelin won’t tour after the response they’ve gotten for the one off show in London next month, but I wonder why Astbury would feel its a good idea to spill the beans by himself at a small show in Cincinnati?
