Noted video director Floria Sigismondi (White Stripes, David Bowie, The Cure) has directed a video for “Let It Rain,” the advance single to Living Things’ upcoming album Habeas Corpus (set for release on Jive Records Feb. 17). The stylized performance video presents the band in a stark white environment with dramatic lighting illuminating them much like an eclipse

The video debuted today on Imeem.com and is featured on the social network’s homepage. Later in the week the video will spread to other sites and be included in the relaunch of the band’s updated website, www.livingthingsmusic.com.

Sigismondi’s multi-disciplinary work encompasses video, film, photography and installations. She has directed the full and varied compliment of Living Things music videos since the band launched, including the colorful circus-themed visual support for “Bom Bom Bom” from the band’s first album, Ahead of the Lions (Jive 2005). Sigismondi is currently writing and directing her first feature film, a coming of age story based on the ’70s all-girl rock ‘n’ roll band, the Runaways.

Living Things have also accepted an offer to join Eagles of Death Metal on their February tour, completing an incendiary and unpredictable live offering of garage/alternative rock. “We’re looking forward to bringing unapologetic rock n’ roll across the country touring with the noble Eagles of Death Metal,” said Lillian Berlin, lead vocals/lyrics/guitars. On sale dates for tickets will be announced locally in each market; show dates are as follows:
