1. Talk, talk, talk
2. Date each other
3. Spend time apart
4. Let small things slide
5. Fight fair
6. Stay intimate
7. Touch
8. Say thank you
9. Keep it surprising
10. Make the effort
Here are 10 tips from dating coach David Wygant to approaching a woman.
1. Observe something.
Make your comment immediate to the situation and it will seem perfectly natural.
2. Smile.
This shows her that you are friendly and confident.
3. Do not hesitate.
When you see her, walk over to her within a short period of time (the three-second rule). Show her you are a man who knows what he wants and goes after it.
4. Positive body language.
Stand up straight, with shoulders back and chest out, and use a firm yet relaxed walk.
5. Not too fast.
A calm, casual approach is usually the best way to make her feel at ease with you.
6. Keep eye contact
Never be the first to break eye contact when you approach. If you do, this sends the message that you are not feeling good about approaching.
7. Listen up.
Women love a man who pays attention to the details of what she says. If you start throwing out random words, she will lose interest fast.
8. Do not fidget.
If you communicate that you are uncomfortable, she will feel uncomfortable, too, and will close up. Practice being aware of your movements. Pay attention to those movements, or lack of movements, that communicate comfort and confidence.
9. Lighten your tone of voice.
Approaching her in a light and playful tone is one of the best ways to start. You could also begin in a serious tone, accusing her of something like I hope you saved some turkey for me,” followed by a quick smile to let her know you are joking.
10. Lean away from her.
Lean away from her slightly. This lets her know that you respect her space, boundaries, and are comfortable with yourself.
1. You can go to a crowded bar and not meet someone
The best way to start a conversation is with a smile.
2. Funky chicken
If you’re self-conscious about the way you dance, you aren’t going to attract the opposite sex. If you wanna meet and greet, you’ve gotta start by letting yourself get down on the dance floor.
3. So close, yet so far away
Do you ever go up to the bar alone and order next to a stud? Luck is being in the right place at the right time. Now make a move!!
4. Don’t get jealous, get even
Do you have a friend who gives out her number twice as much as you and you don’t understand how? If so, start using her as a wingwoman.
5. Mixin’ business with pleasure
If you want him/her to call you make sure that he/her puts your number in their phone! People lose business cards and numbers written on napkins after a night of drinking.
6. You’re bad at breakups
When you settle for someone you’re not into, you’re not giving yourself the opportunity to date someone you may really, really like!
7. Dead on approach
Do you say hi to people you pass by every day, like security guards, the dude that toasts your bagel, and the checkout girl at the drug store? Well, you should. It not only makes you approachable to them, but other people will notice that you’re friendly, open, and easy to talk to.
8. Smooth sailing on the friendship
Have you ever lost a friend because they were crushing on you and turning the relationship into something more serious failed? Friends should fall for you and vice versa. If they’re not, something is rotten in the state of your ability to romance.
9. Company man
Going out with your platonic friends of the opposite sex just get in the way- even if they’re gay.
10. Change clothes and go
Do not always go out in the same clothes you go to work in. I’m not saying you dress risque for happy hour drinks, but you need to feel sexy to look it.
