1. The Great White at West Warwick, Rhode Island in 2003. Pyrotechnic problem ignited the insulated walls on fire.

2. Rock concert at Minsk, Belarus in 1999. Hailstorm caused fans to run for cover at a nearby subway station, which resulted in a stampede.

Dead: 52

3. The Who at Cincinnati Riverfront Coliseum in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1979. A crowd of fans were so eager to get inside through the one door that kept being opened and closed (for security purposes), that those in front were crushed to death while others in the crowd fell to the ground.

4. The Rolling Stones at the Altamont Speedway in Northern California in 1969. Members of the Hell’s Angels acted as security and stabbed a concertgoer to death because he had a gun. Two fans were also run over and one drowned in a ditch.
