Found on the west coast of Mauritania, Banc d'Arguin National Park is a nature reserve set up specifically to preserve the area's resources, geography and priceless fisheries. The park is found in a transition zone between the Sahara Desert and the Atlantic Ocean, and features both sand dunes and swamps.
