Whistler Mountain was originally named London Mountain because of heavy fog that surrounded the area. It can be found in the Fitzsimmons Range, and is located near one of British Columbia's provincial parks. Blackcomb Peak is found east of the city of Whistler, and is the border between the resort and Garibaldi Provincial Park. Combined, the Whistler and Blackcomb mountains have over 200 runs and 33 ski lifts. Reliable snow conditions and a pleasant climate, plus North America's largest area of skiable terrain make these two peaks some of North America's most visited.
