I came across this piece of news on PaidContent.org. Former President of Tandberg Television, Reggie Bradford, Together with General Catalyst Partners, Launches ViTrue, Inc.: World’s First User Created Advertising Platform.

By virtue of developing the WatchMojo.com video portal, we are all for the euphoria surrounding online video, but this is starting to get a bit crazy. Ad agencies have a lot of experience in strategy, planning, buying and creating ads. Sure, you will get that one in a million great idea from user generated ads, but there is a reason why ViTrue is the first of its kind.

Then again, crazier things have happened and I wish them all of the luck in the world.
