All righty, yesterday, I stressed the importance for Yahoo! (whose shares I own) to do something bold on the video front if it sought to stay within striking range of Google. Lo and behold, today I see they launch http://video.yahoo.com/.
I’ll check it out and let you know what I think. If they pulled an AOL and simply launched a YouTube clone, it would be a shame. If, however, they managed to really incorporate all of the bells and whistles in the Yahoo! environment, then it could be something interesting.
