eBay and Google’s deal

It certainly sets a standard for cooperation and not competition.  What’s odd is that eBay has a similar deal with Yahoo! domestically in the US, and now one with Google internationally.

What is also interesting is that Google’s Google Talk will play alongside eBay’s Skype, though initially when Google Talk was launched, it seemed to be Google’s way of positioning itself against Skype’s VOIP offering.

This might become the tonic that will kickstart click to call advertising…
