Imagine a competitor of a newspaper penning an editorial praising you and urging you not to sell to a given party, or person.
Well, that’s exactly what happened this weekend when the New York Times gave props and cautioned Dow Jones from selling to News Corp. and Rupert Murdoch. This one will get odder before it gets close to anything resembling normal.

Also, apparently, both GE (who owns NBC, CNBC) and MSFT - with whom GE owns MSNBC - looked at DJ and Wall Street Journal but did not reach an agreement, this coming from WSJ itself!.
