Yesterday LinkedIn came out and said that it would open up its platform, in 9 months. Probably due to a fear of becoming irrelevant in a Facebook-hyped World.
Today Plaxo came out and retooled considerably, apparently they’ve toned down the spam, which prompted me to pen “Masters of Nuisance: Plaxo or LinkedIn?” and have adopted a neutral stance to allow them to weave through all of the different networks out there. Great. I didn’t know they were still around, by the looks of it, they’re being propped for a sale, though I’m not sure who is interested.
