Not to beat a dead horse, but to show you why the Web shrinks traditional media, running with the post we published earlier today:

Year-over-year, industrywide online newspaper ad sales rose by $135 million, from $638 million to $773 million. That’s a decent 21% spike.

Offline newspaper sales fell $1 billion. That’s right, while print ads in the third quarter were a robust $10.1 billion, the decline was nowhere near offset by the Web.
