			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>People are getting <a href="http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/01/31/myspace_fb_comscore_drop/" target="_blank">tired</a> of social networking and the hangover from the overdose of exposing oneself.  Shocking.</p>
<p>Facebook&#8217;s growth is slowing down. Shocking.</p>
<p>Wonder if that $15B valuation is sensible today.  Nope.  Yahoo! - stripped of Alibaba and Yahoo! Japan - is not worth $15B today&#8230; would you really take in Facebook&#8217;s $150M in revenues and everything else it has going for it over everything (good, bad and ugly) that Yahoo! has?</p>
<p>It&#8217;s ironic that I came across this piece of news just after arguing that content will <a href="http://watchmojo.com/web/blog/index.php/2008/01/31/will-marketers-favor-content-or-community/" target="_blank">prevail</a> over community.</p>
<p>Also fitting that just last week we made our case for the <a href="http://watchmojo.com/web/blog/index.php/2008/01/20/five-reasons-why-facebook-wont-remain-the-social-networking-darling/" target="_blank">decline</a> of Facebook.</p>
<p>Ultimately, I think the over-simplified conclusion is app-fatigue, sure, but not all social networking are [cr-]app cesspools.</p>
<p>So the flip side is lack of good content and ironically, lack of utility.</p>
