YouTube has began testing higher quality clips… look at the arrow. That’s after I had clicked on the link for a higher quality video. Judge for yourself (I tried adding both high and low res versions but the embed code was not different, so I assume they default to low res and give you an option to see the high res, which is slower playback):

And yes, we have 1,201 videos on YouTube, or about 1/3 of our total library size.
