It’s hero time again! Welcome to WatchMojo.com, and today we’ll be counting down our picks for Another Top 10 Ben 10 Aliens.
For this list, we’ll be looking at some of the aliens that weren’t covered in our previous list. We’ll also be disregarding the reboot aliens since, while there are a few cool new ones, they are mostly the same as the original continuity. With that, let’s get started.
He might not be as big or strong as Ben’s other aliens, but what this little guy lacks in brawn, he more than makes up for in brains. Grey Matter has a vast intelligence that makes him capable of creating weapons from spare parts and fixing even the most complicated alien technology. His small size even comes in handy when fitting into tight spaces to tinker with or repair something. Don’t let appearances fool you when it comes to Ben’s Galvan form; Grey Matter is one of his coolest and most useful aliens.
Introduced in the first episode of “Ben 10: Omniverse,” this alien form is known as a Segmentasapien and is easily one of the coolest transformations in Ben’s arsenal. Bloxx has a segmented body which can shift, extend, and build into various forms and weapons, which turns Ben into the ultimate Lego set. Even if he’s not the strongest alien in the Omnitrix, Bloxx still makes our Top 10 solely for how much fun his powers look. Seriously, who wouldn’t want to turn their body into indestructible blocks?
Though he was pretty much forgotten about after the original series, this aquatic alien definitely deserves some love as one of Ben’s most unique and underrated aliens. On top of having a kick-ass design that looks straight out of an old monster movie, Ripjaws can breathe underwater and swim at great speeds, but his real strength lies in his eponymous jaws, which are capable of ripping apart even the toughest metals. Ripjaws also has the neat ability to transform his fish tail into legs and a loincloth, an interesting design choice that’s just one of the many reasons we love this amphibious alien.
Sometimes rolling up into a ball can be useful, at least if you’re Cannonbolt, Ben’s Arburian Pelarota form. With a hard outer shell and the ability to spin at breakneck speeds, this alien allows Ben to shoot around like a giant cannon ball, bringing the hurt to whoever crosses his path. Though his abilities are pretty one-note, Cannonbolt earns a spot on our list both for his awesome design and for the fact that he made the cut for the current reboot’s new alien lineup.
What’s big, strong, nearly indestructible and can grow up to 60 feet tall? If you answered Humungousaur, then you’d be correct. There is no denying that this is one of Ben’s strongest, and by extension, coolest aliens. During the “Alien Force” and “Ultimate Alien” series, Humungousaur was one of Ben’s favorite aliens; his enormous size and strength making him a powerful go-to form for every tough battle the young hero faced. Plus, let’s not forget about this Humungousaur’s “Ultimate” form, which evolved the alien into a walking dino-tank.
What’s cooler than a ghost? How about an ice-powered ghost? Big Chill’s unique set of powers and badass “hooded phantom” design make him one of the coolest aliens, both literally and figuratively, that the Omnitrix has to offer. This moth-like creature is armed with various cryokinetic powers, wings capable of flight, and the ability to turn intangible, all of which have proved incredibly useful in both combat and stealth situations. While the “Omniverse” redesign of the character was not particularly well-received, Big Chill is still one of Ben’s greatest aliens.
For a concept as simple as taking a real animal’s name literally, this alien is actually one of Ben’s coolest. An Arachnichimp from Aranhaschimmia, Spidermonkey has the agility and strength of a monkey and all the abilities of a spider rolled into one super-cool alien. Spidermonkey is capable of shooting webbing from his tail, can stick to any surface, and has plenty of strength to boot. He might not be the most powerful of Ben’s aliens, but he is definitely one of the most unique, earning him the number four spot on this list.
Feedback means a whole lot to Ben, so much so that it he took it as a huge loss when the alien was forcibly removed from his Omnitrix forever. It’s not hard to see why Ben loves Feedback; he’s one of his most powerful aliens, since his power is to absorb and redirect all forms of energy. Plus, check out that design, what’s not to love about an alien with a plug for a tail? And let’s not forget that he absorbed the energy of a universe-destroying bomb before it could wipe out all of existence, that’s gotta be worth a few extra points.
Let us tell you something, Mojoholics, Rath is not satisfied with being number two on this list! Woah, sorry, not sure what came over us there. Probably the fact that this particular alien has a mind of his own, one that is, interestingly enough, based on the personalities of Marvel’s Wolverine and eccentric professional wrestlers. If that’s still not cool enough for you, then take a look at Rath’s powers: immense strength, impressive speed, extreme durability, and nearly unlimited stamina, all of which are powerful enough to rival even Ben’s strongest aliens.
Before we get to our number one pick, here are a few honorable mentions:
Chromastone
Echo Echo
Atomix
Last but not least, we have one of Ben’s original aliens, Diamondhead. Everything about this alien screams cool, from his awesome design to his unique and surprisingly powerful abilities, not to mention the fact that he’s been in every entry of the franchise, including the 2016 reboot. Diamondhead’s dense crystalline body makes him virtually indestructible and incredibly strong, giving him plenty of defensive and offensive capabilities. All the cool features that make up Diamondhead earned him the number one spot on our list, so we guess you could say that diamonds are a boy’s best friend, too.
