Well known in Europe, thrash metal band Testament has consistently been compared to early Metallica. Formed in California in the early '80s as Legacy, the band's well-crafted, punishing sound still proves relevant a quarter century later. 2001 saw singer Chuck Billy fall ill with cancer, which was almost the end of the band. However today, after years of line-up changes, the original band members are all back together and ready to take on the world.
