Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we are counting down our picks for the Top 10 Anime Girls With The Highest Kill Counts.
For this list, we’re looking at the ladies of anime who excel when it comes to dropping bodies. Whether inadvertently or directly, as long as there’s a quantifiable number of dead that can be associated with their name, they count! Think we missed a death dealing extraordinaire? Let us know in the comments!
She may be an absolute beauty, but Rise is a hunter through and through. A slave to her indulgences, as a Ghoul, this femme fatale constantly thirsts for humans to satisfy her insatiable hunger. What separates her from the rest of her kind? Given how Rize earned the moniker of Binge Eater, it’s clear that she’s a heavy eater who will cross any and all boundaries just for another mouthful of that sweet human meat. So yeah, she’s gobbled up an alarming amount of people during her lifetime. Until a steel beam to the head cut her buffet short.
There’s certainly an argument to be made that Misa Misa was just as much of a victim of Light’s manipulation and god complex…but she still killed a whole lot of people with the Death Note. Acting as the second Kira, the actress showed no hesitancy when it came to erasing those that stood in the way of her beloved’s rise to power. Given the number of years that she and Light operated as a two-person killing team, it’s fair to say Misa caused a sizable number of insta-deaths the world over.
Probably the only time you’re ever going to sympathise with a mass murderer well-known for tearing people apart with invisible arms. As a Diclonius, Lucy suffered all kinds of abuse from an early age, witnessing humanity at its worst. As a result, she saw no other recourse than to let her inner monster out of the bag and go on a bloody rampage. Her tormentors, the military, civilians, her lover’s family, there was no one that Lucy wouldn’t tear up with her vectors out of her desire for revenge.
Sometimes the best girl just so happens to be on the psychotic side, have a clock for an eye, and have a kill count of around ten thousand. Known as the Worst Spirit for her brutal actions, Kurumi spends her days gunning down the dregs of society and anyone else who gets in her way. There’s certainly a warped justice to her ideology, but that doesn’t take away from the fact she has shot down a whole lot of scumbags. Maybe we just have a weakness for the gothic look.
Now we’re getting into the heavy hitters. In a future where the androids run rampant without anyone to stand against them, 18 and her brother succeeded in cleaning quite a large amount of the population. While the 18 that would go on to marry Krillin can only be held responsible for shattering Vegeta’s ego, her future counterpart has wasted whole cities just to ease her boredom. If not for Trunks cutting her down to size, it’s fair to say she would have had a hand in wiping out the whole species.
While masterminding the killing games certainly makes her a terrible person, getting prodigal high schoolers to murder each other isn’t the most nefarious ploy Junko has unleashed. While trapping the main cast inside Hope’s Peak Academy, Junko turned the outside world upside down. As the Ultimate Despair, Junko thrives off the pain and suffering of others, so what better way to invoke it than by starting a movement dedicated to chaos. Junko may not have doomed humanity, but she certainly brought it to the brink.
She’s a hundred perfect waifu, and a hundred perfect guaranteed to break you in half at the drop of a hat. As leader of the Jaegers, Esdeath is a devastatingly powerful soldier, one capable of freezing anything, from water to time itself. Aside from turning into a total simp for Tatsumi, Esdeath’s most iconic moment came from when she took on a rebellion, and casually buried four hundred thousand of them alive just to make a point. Ice cold doesn’t even begin to cover it.
When you’re in the weapon dealing business, one can only assume there are going to be a number of casualties as a result of your transactions. Of course, Koko is far beyond your ordinary gun-nut. Having funded the secret project Jormungand, Koko reveals that her ultimate goal is to put an end to war and save humanity from itself… by disabling all aircrafts around the globe. The only catch is that at any one time there could be as much as seven hundred thousand people mid-air. Does she hit the switch regardless? Of course,
she does!
The waifu war between Asuka and Rei will likely continue until the universe collapses, but at the very least we know who will go down with the biggest kill count. After being forged to merge with the Angel Lilith, Rei brings about the literal end of the world. Aside from her former friends, everyone else is reduced to orange slush, all the while Rei and her gigantic, splitting head look down in glee as everything is reduced to hellscape with just as much symbolism as there are disintegrated bodies. I think it’s fair to call this Evangelion’s bad ending.
What? This cutie-pie? Surely there’s no way that she – twelve billion. This girl has wiped out twelve billion lives all by her lonesome. That’s what happens when you pilot a Buster Machine and have legions of alien fodder to shoot down. Between blasting the intergalactic terror in the vacuum of space, to setting off a black hole bomb to wipe out the rest of them, Noriko has racked up an unfathomable number of kills that reach high into the billions. Not bad for someone who's never piloted a mecha before!

“Tokyo Ghoul” (2014-15)She may be an absolute beauty, but Rise is a hunter through and through.
#9: Misa Amane
“Death Note” (2006-07)There’s certainly an argument to be made that Misa Misa was just as much of a victim of Light’s manipulation and god complex…but she still killed a whole lot of people with the Death Note. Acting as the second Kira, the actress showed no hesitancy when it came to erasing those that stood in the way of her beloved’s rise to power. Given the number of years that she and Light operated as a two-person killing team, it’s fair to say Misa caused a sizable number of insta-deaths the world over.
#8: Lucy
“Elfen Lied” (2004)Probably the only time you’re ever going to sympathise with a mass murderer well-known for tearing people apart with invisible arms.
#7: Kurumi Tokisaki
“Date A Live” (2013-)Sometimes the best girl just so happens to be on the psychotic side, have a clock for an eye, and have a kill count of around ten thousand.
#6: Android 18
“Dragon Ball Z” (1989-96)Now we’re getting into the heavy hitters.
#5: Junko Enoshima
“Danganronpa: The Animation” (2013)While masterminding the killing games certainly makes her a terrible person, getting prodigal high schoolers to murder each other isn’t the most nefarious ploy Junko has unleashed.
#4: Esdeath
“Akame ga Kill!” (2014)She’s a hundred perfect waifu, and a hundred perfect guaranteed to break you in half at the drop of a hat.
#3: Koko
“Jormungand” (2012)When you’re in the weapon dealing business, one can only assume there are going to be a number of casualties as a result of your transactions. Of course,
she does!
#2: Rei
“The End of Evangelion” (1997)The waifu war between Asuka and Rei will likely continue until the universe collapses, but at the very least we know who will go down with the biggest kill count.
#1: Noriko
“Gunbuster” (1988-89)What? This cutie-pie? Surely there’s no way that she – twelve billion. This girl has wiped out twelve billion lives all by her lonesome. That’s what happens when you pilot a Buster Machine and have legions of alien fodder to shoot down. Between blasting the intergalactic terror in the vacuum of space, to setting off a black hole bomb to wipe out the rest of them, Noriko has racked up an unfathomable number of kills that reach high into the billions. Not bad for someone who's never piloted a mecha before!
