Enter The King of Cards
With it’s retro style graphics, awesome cast of characters and engaging boss battles, Shovel Knight earned itself a spot as one of the best games of 2014!
Of course the hype didn’t stop there, as thanks to its two incredible DLC we were able to take up arms once again and traverse deeper this pixelated fantasy world, albeit from the point of view of two antagonists: Plague Knight and Specter Knight.
Plague of Shadows and Specter of Torment not only offered contrasting stories and gameplay mechanics, but thanks to the surprising amount of depth that came from their lead characters we were given a mini-trilogy that more than delivered on the emotional payoff.
As it happens, there is still one last story to tell.
Yep, it’s King Knight’s time to shine!
