VOICE OVER: Ryan Wild
These cringe worthy celebrity sports moments are hard to watch. For this list, we'll be looking at celebrities who have tried their hand at sports during events, but it just didn't work out the way that they had hoped. Our countdown includes Justin Bieber, Keanu Reeves, Gordon Ramsay, and more!

#10: Justin Bieber

Also in:

Justin Trudeau, Brownface and Privilege

It’s no secret that this Canadian pop star has an affinity for sports. He’s a super fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, he frequently attends sporting events and has even been spotted playing different sports on several occasions. But a lot of people will never forget that time he played in the 2011 NBA-All Star Celebrity game. It wasn’t that he didn’t play well; in fact, he actually played pretty good, and was voted as the game’s MVP. But it’s that fact, since he had such a small stature, there were instances when he got pushed around and was getting easily dominated by the opposing players. We give him credit for holding his own and playing with players who were much larger in stature than he was.

#9: Kevin Connolly

Also in:

Kevin Tsujihara, #Metoo, and Warner Bros

The HBO hit Entourage is known for its celebrity cameos, and the movie also made sure to feature a good amount of them as well. One of those famous faces who appeared in the movie was NFL quarterback Russell Wilson. While shooting a scene where the gang would be playing a game of football on the beach, Wilson at one point threw the ball to actor Kevin Connolly. Connolly caught the ball, but fell and broke his leg in 3 places. He initially played the injury off and continued shooting scenes, but two days later admitted he needed to go to the hospital. The scene didn’t end up making the cut, and both Connolly and Wilson took to social media to make light of the whole situation.

#8: Keanu Reeves

Keanu will be Constantine AGAIN! Netflix SHUTTING DOWN the Binge? KARATE KID KICKS AGAIN?!

Keanu Reeves is great. In fact, he’s breathtaking. No one can dispute that claim. But perhaps not so much in baseball. Playing At MTV’s Rock n’ Jock event, where celebrities come together and play sports, Reeves did not have the best outing. The first mishap came when he was picked off first base by rapper Tone Loc. Later in the game, he took a terrible dive and was unable to retrieve a ball hit by Daryl Strawberry, who went on to score a home run. On the flipside, at least he proved he has the chops to be a good baseball coach in “Hardball”.

#7: Niall Horan

Outside of music, there’s probably nothing that singer Niall Horran loves more than golf. Not only does he play, but he even started his own company, Modest! Golf, which helps manage professional golfers. But his love for golf doesn’t mean he’s exactly a pro. Back in 2015 at the BMW PGA Championship pro-am, the One-Direction star hit a ball that headed straight towards a nearby spectator. Fortunately no one was hurt. This wouldn’t be his last mishap in golf though. When caddying for Rory McIlroy during the Masters Par-3 contest, he was given the chance to take a shot….which went straight into the water. And speaking of him being a caddy…

#6: Kevin James

Also in:

Kevin Hart: Hilarious Set at Just for Laughs!

While promoting his movie “Here Comes the Boom”, actor Kevin James made an appearance at the U.S. Open back in 2012. Paired with Jim Courier, both men squared off against John McEnroe and Adam Sandler in a doubles exhbition match. It was evident right from the get go that James didn’t really know what he was doing for the most part. Looking out of place throughout, the real highlight came when he attempted an in between the legs trick shot….He wasn’t even close. A publicity stunt through and through (as shown by the t-shirt he was wearing), it was at least an entertaining one at that.

#5: Gordon Ramsay

Top 10 Times Gordon Ramsay Almost FOUGHT a Contestant

Even though charity games are for a good cause, it doesn’t mean that participants won’t be playing for keeps. Case in point, former footballer Teddy Sheringham at the Soccer Aid event in 2012. When Gordon Ramsay was in possession of the ball, Sheringham proceeded to absolutely wreck him. Ramsay was clearly in pain, so much so that he couldn’t get up. He was later given oxygen and even carted off the field on a stretcher. The incident made the rounds online, with one person altering Ramsay’s wikipedia page and claiming that he passed away after the incident. Worst of all, Ramsay wasn’t the only celebrity who got injured that day.

#4: 50 Cent

The rapper/television producer was invited to throw the ceremonial first pitch at a Mets game back in 2014. The throw went wide left and SB [00:09 “...was not great. Just a bit outside”]. The entire ordeal was so funny even 50 couldn’t contain his laughter, nor could any of the players or spectators. We know 50 is a man of many talents, but maybe he can work on his baseball skills too if he ever decides to redeem himself and throw another pitch at Citi field. But 50 Cent isn’t the only one on this list who needs to work on their pitching skills…

#3: Carly Rae Jepsen

“Call Me Maybe” wasn’t the only reason why Carly Rae Jepsen took the world by storm in 2012. The Canadian singer was invited to throw the ceremonial first pitch at a Tampa Bay Rays game that year. When it came time to throw the ball, it went about 8 feet in the air before promptly hitting the ground. The whole sequence went viral, with some having labeled it as the worst first pitch in baseball history. But at least she was a good sport about it.

#2: Boris Johnson

During a visit to Japan, then-mayor of London Boris Johnson was invited to partake in what was labeled as an informal rugby game. Like Sheringham, Johnson clearly didn’t get the memo, and while playing, he at one point flattened out a 10 year old boy on the opposing team. At least he was polite about it afterwards, later apologizing to him. This wasn’t the first time Johnson showed this type of disregard while partaking in sports, having once tripped a child while playing in a soccer match and unforgettably charging head first into Germany’s Maurizio Gaudino at a charity match. Politicians from other countries, or anyone for that matter, might want to think twice about inviting Johnson to participate in friendly sporting events…

#1: Diana Ross

Top 10 Princess Diana Quotes To Live By

Diana Ross is a sensational singer and a motown legend. But she could probably learn a thing or two about playing soccer. Performing at the opening ceremony of the 1994 World Cup, she began her act by jovially singing and dancing around the field. When it came time to kick a soccer ball in the net, well...it didn't go towards the net. In fact, it didn’t go anywhere near it and she completely missed. You could even hear the crowd’s reaction. The rest of the performance went fine, but it is this moment, along with Oprah tripping before introducing Ross, that will forever be etched in our memories.
