Top 10 Most Entertaining H3 Podcast Guests

Top 10 Most Entertaining H3 Podcast Guests
VOICE OVER: Callum Janes
This podcast can do no wrong! For this list, we'll be looking at the funniest, most enjoyable, and popular guests to appear on Ethan and Hila Klein's Podcast. Our countdown includes Bo Burnham, Steve-O, Post Malone, and more!

#10: Harley Morenstein

While he’s known for being loud and extreme with his food, Harley brings a surprisingly chill conversation to the podcast. The host of Epic Meal Time answers questions ranging from the show to his position as the “Nick Cage” of Youtube. It gets especially funny when he talks about his obsession with K-pop bands and his experience with the fandom! His ghost story is particularly ridiculous, involving possession and an hornery spirit. Ethan and Hila have significant respect for Harley as one of the first people they watched on YouTube, and the feelings are mutual. This leads to a quality conversation with a couple of laughs along the way.

#9: Michael Stevens

If you want to increase your I.Q, you bring Michael Stevens onto the podcast. The host of Vsauce is not only incredibly knowledgeable about the weirdest stuff, but he also has an amazing way to break it down into understandable chunks. That’s why whenever the episodes dive into discussions about Futurism, A.I., and human psychology, you’re still able to follow along without feeling overwhelmed. Michael has also experimented with some insane stuff in his pursuit of sharing knowledge, and listening to these experiences is the next level. The discussions have proven so interesting that he’s been brought back for multiple episodes over the podcast’s history.

#8: Bo Burnham

Bo Burnham is an amazing comedian, using self-aware humor to dissect the modern zeitgeist. His appearance on the H3 podcast was no exception with how insightful it was. Ethan discusses religion with him and the state of art within the social media generation, leading to some comedic but also astute exchanges. If you’ve watched Bo Burnham’s “Inside”, you might be able to find a few moments that would later become main features in the Netflix special. It’s a fantastic interview that’s worth rewatching

#7: Papa John

Fans of H3H3 will know that the Papa John restaurant has been a recurring reference since the early days of Ethan and Hila Klein’s YouTube career. So the fact they were able to get the actual founder of the chain, John Schnatter, is hilarious. A few years before the interview, Schnatter was ousted from his company, having complained that national anthem protesters had “hurt” his pizza sales, and uttered a racial slur during a sensitivity training call. Prompted by Ethan, he opens up about his belief that it was a conspiracy against him. On a more lighthearted note, they also enjoy and rate various pizzas, including from rival eateries!

#6: Rhett & Link

If you’ve watched Good Mythical Morning, the dynamic duo bring the same amazing chemistry to their appearance on the H3 podcast. But the episode is also a candid talk about their experiences on Youtube that you might not get elsewhere. Rhett and Link review creating their content throughout their careers and dive deep into the state of the YouTube platform as a whole and its future. For anybody interested in the Youtube community, it’s amazing to hear these incredibly influential people talk at length about where they think the platform is going. It’s a fascinating episode that deserves a part 2.

#5: Steve-O

The former Jackass star found success on YouTube after the movies ended, and as he reveals here, has led a pretty mad life. On top of that, he gets on quite well with Hila and Ethan, which allows him to talk about some of the craziest things that have happened to him. From horrible injuries, ridiculous stunts, to insane drug stories, Steve-O’s episodes are quite the ride! He also brings an interesting perspective on getting in front of the public, analyzing what it takes to be a comedian or a performer! By the end of these episodes, you’ll feel inspired to be more adventurous and better yourself.

#4: Bobby Lee

If you want a couple of laughs, Bobby’s episodes are the way to go. He’s just an incredibly fun guy to have in the studio, as he’s comedic regardless of the situation! Even when he and Ethan roast each other during his first appearance, it’s all in good humor. He was amazing on his own, but then he came back with his girlfriend Khalyla, and it got ridiculous. One of the biggest highlights was when he somehow managed to crash a mobility scooter in a doorway! He’s always a hysterical addition to the podcast and we hope to see more of him in the future.

#3: Justin Roiland

Co-creator of “Rick and Morty” Justin Roiland is a fantastic place to start if you want to listen to the H3 podcast. He’s hilarious on his own, but things get even better when he’s joined by his friend Alex Hirsch. We don’t think anyone expected Justin to be roped into making prank calls, or pepper-spraying Joey Salads! But he seemed to enjoy it! And if you’re a fan of “Rick & Morty”, you’ll be glad that you tuned in, as you’ll be able to hear Justin and Alex perform some of their iconic voices.

#2: Post Malone

Post Malone and Ethan were pretty close buds at the time of these episodes, and the two have abundant chemistry on-screen. As a result, their conversations are always entertaining to listen to and it gets even better when Joji joins the mix. They discuss everything from Doomsday prepping, stories in Vegas, to Jake Paul doxing Malone in 2017! It feels like it’s just a bunch of friends chilling out and trading stories. Whenever he’s on the air, anything could happen. Heck, Justin Beiber even called Post when he dropped in unannounced halfway through an episode! It goes to prove that it’s not just Post Malone’s music that’s great; he’s a pretty cool guy as well.

Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.

Andrew Yang

Ethan’s Parents
Ethan’s Mom & Dad Are Always Heartwarming & Hilarious Additions!

#1: Jacksfilms & Erik

These guys are such great additions to the podcast, they are some of the most recurring guests on the show. And they talk about the weirdest stuff, but it’s always intriguing and hysterical. It’s very relaxed and as a result, the real honest stuff comes out of everyone involved. It could be about creator burnout, Ethan messing up at Jacks’ wedding, or Erik’s nickname in high school: Hoffy Uncut! Jacksfilms and Erik are an amazing duo to have on, producing some of the greatest clips to come out of the show.
