Ice-T Hosts Brand New Doc About The Unsolved Murders Of Hip Hop Legends Biggie and 2Pac

Letting Icons Be Bygones

You can’t name two more influential M.C.’s than Pac and Biggie. They defined hip hop in the ’90s. Busting rhymes from the East Coast to West, they took the rap game to a new level. Every major star of today cites them as influences.  And their tragic murders have never faded far from the public consciousness.

Holograms and Hollow Points

You also can’t find a more influential MC, actor and hip hop personality than Ice-T.  And now he’s lending his star power to a new documentary probing the deaths of these two icons.

Ice Cold Case

From XXL:

The deaths of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. have been shrouded in mystery for two decades now. There have been countless movies, documentaries and conspiracy theories to try to explain what happened to both rap icons, however the cases remain cold. Ice-T and Soledad O’Brien will once again revisit the two infamous murders on the new Fox special, Who Shot Biggie & Tupac?

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the two-hour investigative crime special will feature, “never-before-heard accounts surrounding the deaths of the hip-hop legends,” from private investigators, police officers, informants and hip-hop insiders.
The program will also have cameos from Lil’ Cease, E.D.I. Mean, Doug E Fresh, Funkmaster Flex and even former Death Row Records executive Suge Knight, who was driving the car Shakur was shot in, and suffered a head wound in the incident.

BIG Revelations?

The special is said to have never-before-released audio of Biggie speaking on ‘Pac’s murder. The show will air on Sept. 24.
Even 20 years after their murders, which happened within a year of each other, the rap world and those close to the rappers are still feeling the loss. . .  Maybe who Shot Biggie & Tupac? can finally provide more closure for the public.

You be the judge.
