You can wield the biggest sword in the world and have so much muscle that you can take on an army by yourself, but it all amounts to nothing if your personality is as a dull as dishwater. More often than not, fans will always gravitate towards the characters who knows how to bring in the laughs, and out of all anime’s jokers none split our sides quite like these guys!
#10: Yuuko
Her life is anything but mundane, especially since everywhere she goes there’s always some kind of crazy event going down. Whether it’s dealing with her robotic classmate or playing spectator to a death match between her principal and a deer.
#9: Hidenori
By far the most outlandish, unpredictable and coolest one of the trio, Hidenori never fails bust out some crazy plan that lands he and his friends in trouble.
#8: Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo
He’s a sunglasses wearing muscleman with a blonde-afro whose power involves using his nose-hairs. Make of that what you will.
#7: Reigen
Goes to show that a bit charisma has no equal, as this con man even managed to outshine the protagonist; a kid whose psychic powers can literally decimate the planet.
#6: Shun Kaido
He might look like an ordinary high schooler, but beneath the surface lies an enthusiastic hero known as the Jet Black Wings ready to dispense equality! Just humour him.
#5: Sakamoto
If you didn’t think perfection could be funny, wait until you get a good look at Sakamoto. Utterly flawless in everything he does, his over-dramatic approach to everyday tasks makes him a delight.
#4: The Matsuno Brothers
They’re filthy NEETS who can’t get jobs, can’t live without each other and can’t get a girlfriend to save their lives. And we love them for it.
#3: Nozomu Itoshiki
You will never find a more blunt teacher in all of anime, whose overwhelming pessimism and hatred for life somehow helps out his students with their own problems.
#2: Saitama
He’s the world’s mightiest superhero. So strong that there’s nothing he can’t punch through. And he’s beyond bored with it all. Don’t expect any speeches about truth and justice here, just plenty of laughs.
#1: Gintoki Sakata
There’s no other anime character in history who has broken more fourth walls, made fun of pop culture or parodied other anime more than the White Demon. Hard to believe that someone so hilarious could also be so much of a badass.
