If you are looking for the quintessential Batman experience in the world of video games, then you can’t go wrong with the Arkham series. Gritty, unrelenting and packed to the brim with more lore than we know what to do with, these titles truly captured the darkness of the Caped Crusader.

Before he was living blob of clay, Basil Karlo liked to think of himself as a star in the making. If you take the time to look around through Gotham, you can see posters for some of his upcoming shows.

Aside from serving as Batman’s eyes and ears, Oracle is also part of the crime-fighting team known as the Birds of Prey. They even have their own online message board!

Interacting with this villain on specific holidays will trigger brand new dialogue, each giving us a sneak peak into his gruesome past and approach to killing.

A lesser-known sidekick of the Dark Knight, Ace still seems to be alive and well given that his bowl has its own place in Bruce Wayne’s office.

Talk about foreshadowing. The reference to Cain and Abel at the beginning of the game is mirrored by its ending when Batman walks out of Arkham City with The Joker’s lifeless body in his arms.
